The MIS Team Three Peaks Challenge

This is the official MIS Team Three Peaks Challenge blog, where the whole team will be contributing and commenting on preparations and progress for our Three Peaks Challenge this September.

So, what’s a three peaks challenge then? Well, it varies, but all usually involve getting to the top of three mountains (or at least fairly big hills) very quickly.

Our particular challenge is to summit three of the highest peaks in the Lake District (all over 3000 feet) in a single day.

It’s going to be really hard.

So why do it? Well, they’re there, we thought it would be more of a challenge than the usual corporate team-building nonsense (building rafts, go-karting, shoot clay pidgeons – that sort of thing) and it gives us an opportunity to raise a bit of money for Macmillan Cancer Support with sponsorship.

We’ll be posting here regularly about the event, our preparations and other goings on in the MIS Team as well as demanding sponsorship money with menaces. Just remember - we know where you live.
